Karen Swanson

Karen Swanson has made it her life's work to shape the brilliant minds of tomorrow's young people. She is a teacher who has won awards and an experienced administrator. Swanson has been committed to teaching, mentoring, learning, student engagement, public relations, and being an advocate for educational entities since the beginning of her career. Even though she has 30 years of great experience, Swanson is still driven by her goals and her passion. In her ongoing work, she tries to give teachers the tools they need to improve student access, educational equity, and diversity in the workforce. She also tries to get the local community and business partners more involved.
